You deserve this

The great thing about stamps is that you can use them in lots of different ways. The previous time I used this stamp, which is a flower stamp by InkOn3, on a card I stamped it once, in no-lines and then I cut it out for the card I made (you can see that card here). This time I’ve stamped it twice, at different angles, with black ink. I’ve coloured it up using Copic Marker and placed it on green cardstock. I used text stamps from Mathia Design (Hobbykunst) where I stamped the bigger text directly onto the coloured panel and the other text was stamped on black card stock and embossed in white. Three rhinestones and the card was done.

Winter shaker as my final LLLC DT project

At the start of last year I made my very first La-La Land Crafts card. Now, 81 projects later, I’ve decided to step down off the design team as my time isn’t quite as predictable as before and it’s more difficult to commit to another half a year. It’s been fun to challenge myself with all the different themes and releases along the way. Thank you so much for having me as a part of your team!

For my final project, the theme is shaker card. I’ve decided to go with a clean and simple winter/Christmas card, if a shaker card can even be deemed as CAS… The white main background on the card is embossed using the snowflakes stencil to give it a bit of a texture.

Here is a photo of the card laying flat and the beads are all over the shaker area.

LLLC: Make a wish

For our La-La Land Crafts project this week we were to use background stamps and stencils. I’ve used two different background stamps and one of the stencils along with two of the clear stamp sets for my project. You can find a list of all the products at the bottom of this post. I’ve used various distress inks for the background stamps, and the circles were embossed. I finally found my embossing mat. I wonder how many years it is since I last used it.. could be as many as 4 or 5 and then I think I only used it a couple of times. I’ll try to do better at embossing like that from now on!

Here is another photo, a bit closer, so you can see the embossed circles better.

24. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas everybody! We celebrate here in Norway today, on the 24th of December. After a while of mandatory Christmas programs on the TV we’ll get dressed and head to my parents for Christmas dinner. Yum! Can’t wait!

Today’s post features as a windy Mo Manning image! I’ve decided to keep the card looking cold, but keeping the colours on the image as well. I’ve used Maja Design, Bazzill, Søstrene Grene and Papirdesign paper along with the obligatory dash of acrylic paint! I do love that effect very much! I’ve made a few snowflakes with a Memory Box die, added some Craftworks Cards’ card candi, cheese cloth, twine and Kort og Godt charm. The sentiment is part of the Maja Design papers.

The image has been coloured with Copics, as always. I’ve added some windy white bits over it using embossing and I quite like the effect of it!

Here is a view of the bottom left side of the card so you can easier see some of the details with the charm and how the acrylic paint and embossed snow work on the image.

And the obligatory funky view!

5. CAS Winter Wryn

Day 5 holds my inspiration card for the newest Tiddly Inks challenge. It is called Be Merry. We would love to see loads of fabulous entries over the next few weeks!

I used the Winter Wryn image for this. The stamp also comes with a snowman, but I decided to keep it simple for this one. The paper is  from Papirdesign, the text stamp from Norsk Stempelblad, and I have used black embossing glitter and black glitter paper. I’ve also made embossed snowflakes on the white part of the card, but it was near impossible to get them to show in the photo!
