Thankful for you flowers

So far this year I’ve mostly been colouring up flowers. I got a gift certificate for my birthday last year at Power Poppy and it’s only now I’ve had time to sit down and colour up a few of them. Today’s card is made using one of these stamps. A little bit of experimenting with colours and keeping the card simple, as usual, is basically the recipe for this card.

The cardstock and rectangular die are both by MFT Stamps. I’ve used a sentiment from a collaboration between Hero Arts and Gina K with one of the lovely Pinkfresh inks. I’ve taken two photos again today, so here is the other one as well:

We’re going to miss you

I’m still trying to get through all the images I coloured up for the two daily colouring challenges that ran nearly back to back this spring. The one I’ve used for today’s card is the first one I coloured up for those, back on 1st March. It’s a stamp by Gina K Designs. The stamp is massive, so I had to cut off a little to fit it onto my standard sized cards. I cut it slightly smaller on the edges so I could have a thin red border on each side. The sentiment says “we’re going to miss you” in Norwegian and is by Mathia Design (Hobbykunst). Three enamel dots, in black, and that’s my card done!

Thankful for a friend like you

Another simple card with focus on the colouring. I’ve used a stamp set from Gina K / Simon Says Stamp (it was a freebie with purchase at SSS) for both the flower and text stamps.

Copics used: V12, V15, V17, V09, G94, G99, YG03, YG17, Y32, Y38, E08, E18

Bee birthday girl

Another simple layered card using Maja Design papers. I opted for breaking with the background colours completely for the image and sentiment because it’s fun to do so! I’ve used Gina K’s glitter gel on the chipboard and think that turned out pretty good. And the adorable stamp? That’s by Mo’s Digital Pencil!

Background stamping

Sometimes it’s fun to make a background out of a stamp. For this one I’ve used a stamp from ALTENEW and stamped it up at random 4 times. It’s a pretty big stamp so it covers a lot of area. I then coloured it all in with my Copics, as usual, using the RV90 series. I also coloured in the card base to get a matching colour frame and then I used RV99 to make a sentiment strip. I used Gina K’s white ink for the text stamp and said text stamp is by Mathia Design (Hobbykunst). At the end I added 3 light grey enamel dots below the sentiment.
