RAM Balloon Ride

My Rachelle Anne Miller DT-project this month is a little delayed as I had to get a new printer before I could colour up my chosen image. I picked Animal Balloons. What I decided to do for this one was to first mirror the digital stamp and then copy some of Rachelle’s balloons to add three more than what was in the original image. More balloons, more fun!

A bit of foam tape here and there, some clouds, a sentiment strip and a few enamel dots and my simple card was done.

Sweet celebration slimline

I’ve finally gotten around to making another slimline card! I’ve coloured up stamps from MFT Stamps and then I used the filmstrip die from Whimsy Stamps (aff. link) for the layout. The little stamps fit perfectly into those squares! I quickly made two sentiments on the computer, as I didn’t have what I wanted at hand, and then coupled it with a word die also from MFT Stamps. A few enamel dots from Altenew and voila! Card done!

This card has been entered into the following challenge:

Statement flowers with pencils

I’ve finally sat down to colour up the Statement Flowers by ALTENEW using my Prismacolor pencils. I love how they turned out, and I have to admit I don’t know if I prefer the pencil or copic colouring more for these. There’ll be more pencil versions, though, that’s for sure! I used Gina K’s amalgam ink for stamping up the flower and for the sentiment.

After I had coloured it all up and used one of my stitched rectangle dies for the panel I decided to possibly ruin the whole thing. Not a good idea, I know, but with limited time testing doesn’t tend to get priority, hahaha. I’ve bought some Dylusion Ink Sprays the past week and opted to give the black one (yup, that darkest possible option) a go over my coloured panel! Thankfully it turned out alright. The sentiment is from the Dearest Friend stamp set and I’ve also used Altenew enamel dots from the New Day set as a finishing touch.

RAM Ballerina girl

Time for my first Rachelle Anne Miller project of the year. I’ve chosen one of her adorable girly stamps, a little ballerina. You can find the stamp in her shop here. The whole panel has been coloured up and then I’ve used a stitched rectangle die, embossed a sentiment and added three enamel dots as the only embellishments. The panel itself has been added with foam tape to raise it up from the card base a little.

RAM paris in the rain

Have you ever been to Paris? It’s a lovely city! I was there nearly 18 years ago and feel I am definitely due another trip back there. The fun thing about today’s card is that the day we went to The Eiffel Tower it raining and we got there after sunset. We were lucky they even let us up that evening because of the weather. They were contemplating shutting it down because of the thunder in the distance. The view is wonderful, even in the rain.

Today it’s time for my second Rachelle Anne Miller project of the month and I used her Paris stamp for it. I decided to go with pastel colours and daylight for this, a complete contrast to my own rainy experience. The stamp is printed out in a no-line version and I used Copic markers to colour it up. I have about 1/4″ space around the image, which is on foam tape and then more foam tape for the sentiment. The sentiment means “greetings from me to you”. The Hello is a die cut from Altenew.
