Curly kid on swing

I did indeed get a little time to craft this weekend and I have made three cards. I think I till put a film on this evening and pretend to watch it while I colour up some new digis I just bought! It’s good to try to get relax a bit sometimes.

It’s been a while since I added a card where I have coloured in the image myself. So here is one I have coloured with copics. It is an image by the talented Krista Smith of Saturated Canary. I have made a step card, with a blank from Whichcraft. The ribbon and lace (I absolutely love that lace!) are by Wild Orchid Crafts, and so are all the flowers. The punchers I have used are by Martha Stewart, the paper by Tim Holtz and the sentiment stamp is by Lili of the Valley.

Wedding in Paris

It’s wedding season, isn’t it? Here is the first of about a handful of cards I have made. I stumbled upon some lovely pre-coloured images by Wild Rose Studio. Aren’t they lovely?!

The paper I used is a lovely rose frame by Pion Design. The leaves and butterflies are made from a Martha Stewart puncher. I used pearls to give the butterflies bodies and also to decorate the top corners of the card and to frame the image. The ribbon is from one of the Christmas flowers from last year, I believe, and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Country flowers

Here is another card I made on order recently. The image and colours were picked by the person who made the request. It is a Mother’s Day card.

The doily is by Papermania, the distress ink by Tim Holtz. I have used a pre-coloured image and a stamp sentiment by Lili of the Valley. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts; the ribbon and bow are also from there, as are the pearls. I don’t remember where I purchased the large gem butterfly, but I believe it was at a local shop.

Puppy love

Black and white. I love that combination. I haven’t got much black here, but plenty of grey! To jazz it up a little I decided to add a chunk of red! And not a lot else. The red was pretty powerful on its own, I thought. The pre coloured image is by Lili of the Valley. I have the pad with these animals and mostly grey tones. So cute!
