Spring swing

Time for a new Mi Ran anything goes challenge in the facebook group. This month we have the optional theme of: Things with Wings! I chose the gorgeous Haylee for this and coloured her in with copics. As we’ve had a crap summer and autumn is around the corner, I deliberately chose a spring theme!

The papers I have used are by Lili of the Valley and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts. I used a couple of Martha Stewart punchers to make the butterflies. As the theme is things with wings I used it as an excellent excuse to add then! The border is also made using a Martha Stewart puncher and the leaves with a Noor Designs die.

Birthday cake

I have lost my motivation, completely. I have managed to make a handful of cards the past month, but that is about it. I’ve not felt like updating the blog, even though I have had photos ready to put up. However, it is time to snap out of it and carry on. So here is another card.

I have used a pre-coloured topper by Lili of the Valley, as well as lots of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Most of the other stuff is bits I have had laying about for quite a while, and lost the lables a long time ago.

Summer flowers

A day off work! Now that is something I definitely need. Last weekend was spent colouring in several recently purchased digital stamps from Saturated Canary and Sylvia Zet. It has been quite some time since I last coloured something. I do love their images. Hopefully I have time to make some cards with them today or at the weekend at least. Perhaps I even have time to colour some more in!

Today’s card is made using a pre-coloured image by Lili of the Valley and flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is from a local shop and as usual I cannot remember what make the papers are. Sorry!

For a girl

A few weeks back I was one of the lucky who were picked for a GDT over at Deep Ocean Challenges. Such a surprise it was to see my name on the list with some incredibly talented folks for sure. I am thrilled I got the opportunity! Today is the first of two challenges I am a guest designer for. This one is to make the project for a girl.

I have coloured a Saturated Canary image in with copic markers, as well as a white pen and some dew drops for the dress. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Leaf and border punches are both Martha Stewart. I layered it up using different backgrounds, a sentiment and a doily, and tried to keep it reasonably plain still.
