As might be guessed from my complete lack of blog posts as of late, I have been very busy. The days are rushing past at an unbelievable pace and the exams are getting closer by the minute. At least that is how it feels when the pile of books is only growing taller, instead of smaller! Nevertheless, a blog post was well over due, so here is a new card:

Easel angel
Yet another card that was a project for my sister. It’s great having excuses to make more cards, so getting to make some for her to give away suited me perfectly! Although, I do find it difficult to make for people I don’t know, it’s good practice before I start on the cards a co-worker has requested made.
Flower power
Arrived in London last night, so today will be spent purchasing more things for my card making collection! There will definitely be a pad of First Edition Papers in my suitcase when I head home, I’ll just have to see which they have first! Apart from that I had a Wild Orchid Crafts order waiting for me here. We shall see what else I can find in Range and Hobbycraft today!
This is a card I made for my sister to give to her friend. She wanted it to be retro-like, which is really not my thing, but I wanted to give it a go anyway. It turned out pretty decent after all I think.
Lavender and lace
The other day I went browsing, possibly to kill time, or what’s more likely: to keep awake. I came across a blog called Lili’s Little Fairies. Wow! there are many fantastic cards there; so much talent, so much inspiration all in one spot! The challenges look like a lot of fun, and I’d have yet another excuse to use my favourite stamps. After thinking about it for a while, and making a couple of cards I was really pleased with (which I have yet to post here), I thought I will give it ago.
So here is my entry in the Lavender and Lace challenge:
Pink with a hint of summer
I had to make another birthday card before Christmas as well. It was for a lady celebrating her 50th birthday, so I wanted to make a handmade card for her as I feel they are so much nicer to get, especially on a special occasion like that. As it was only a couple of days until Christmas I didn’t sit forever pondering what to do, I simply decided to follow the theme from the birthday card I’d made the night before.
