Earlier this month a mate turned the big three zero, so a card was non optional! I still haven’t got much option when it comes to stamps to use on cards for blokes, so the obvious choice was the pirate teddy bear from Lili of the Valley. It was a great challenge this card!

Pink with a hint of summer
I had to make another birthday card before Christmas as well. It was for a lady celebrating her 50th birthday, so I wanted to make a handmade card for her as I feel they are so much nicer to get, especially on a special occasion like that. As it was only a couple of days until Christmas I didn’t sit forever pondering what to do, I simply decided to follow the theme from the birthday card I’d made the night before.
Colourful Christmas
Merry Christmas, everyone. As the season requires, I’ve been very busy. Thankfully I’ve managed to finish all my christmas cards in time, as well as two birthday cards. I plan to have all of these posted before the year is over. This post here will contain the pair of cards I made as a break from studying for my exams. A most welcomed break it was.
Two more green Christmas cards
I keep walking over to my hobby corner, wishing I could sit down and make a card or two. But as soon as I get there I think of the amount of curriculum I have to get through and keep walking to my desk to force myself through yet another chapter. Hopefully this urge to make cards will last until I have an hour I feel I can spare.
This post contains yet another pair of cards I made about a month ago. As the first pair, they are both green.
Making Christmas cards
The signs have been appearing all over the city; the trees, stores, windows and walls are all preparing for what is about to come. The increasing mountain of books next to my desk indicate the same. Exam season is approaching; Christmas is only a month away.
Because of this ridiculous amount of said books, I have already made a fair few Christmas cards. Pairs of Christmas cards, in fact. With limited time on my hand and many people I’d like to give cards to, the easiest way was to make two cards per card design. This is why each post leading up to Christmas will feature two cards; the matching pairs. Unless of course I miraculously get more time on my hands and make singles!
