Rainbow and bunny

I’ve made a reasonably simple card again. This time I’ve used a rainbow patterned background paper by Lawn Fawn together with a purple background paper by MFT Stamps. The wee bunny is also from MFT Stamps while the text stamp is by the Norwegian brand Mathia Design. Some enamel dots by Altenew and some foam tape for dimension and there we go!

Blue no-lines flowers

A while ago, I coloured up this flower stamp from Inkon3 using their Fadeout ink for the no-lines effect, but I never really got around to making it into a card.

Well, now it’s done! I bought this gorgeous panel die by Lawn Fawn a week or two ago and it’s perfect! To get a bit of contrast I used blue cardstock behind it, the same colour I’ve used on the frame and small sentiment strip. The birthday die, by Simon Says Stamp, is cut out in a slightly darker cardstock. The flower is put reasonably centred on the card, but to break up the background panel somewhat I added a rectangular white panel with the blue cardstock behind it, behind a bit over half of the coloured image.

Bundle of joy

Baby cards are fun to make and I think I’ve made more the past year than all the previous years I’ve been card making added up. I wonder why, haha! I do like making them in the non-traditional blue and pinks as well, and this one in turquoise and purple is amongst my favourites already. The adorable stamp is by Stamping Bella, the background paper is by Lawn Fawn and the chipboard was from Make It Crafty.

Folded card in yellow

On Sunday last week I had a random impulse for a card. I spotted a recently added challenge at the Hobbykunst challenge blog on Facebook which said to make a specific size and type of folded card. I had just finished one of my other deadline project and figured “hey, why not”. I then asked for trouble, I mean a colour suggestion, and was given the colour yellow. It took me a whole hour to actually find yellow patterned paper I could use and that says a little of how much paper I have and the amount of yellow that was in it. Now there’s no yellow left.

I used a Mo’s Digital Stamp image which I’d coloured up previously. It was a fun project so there many be another card of two similar to this soon, if I find the time!

Here is a peek of the inside of the card. I’ve used some text stamps from Mathia design.

And a final photo of the project

Girl, it’s your day!

Clean and simple is my thing at the moment. Mostly because I’ve gone through images I’ve coloured that fit well on those kind of cards! This is a fairy, by Stamping Bella, that I coloured up a while ago. I’ve even made a video of how I colour it. It is in slightly different colours, but you’ll get the idea. The video is here.

Once again I’ve used Lawn Fawn paper and Make it Crafty chipboard. The enamel dots are by Your Next Stamp and the dies and embossed text stamp by MFT Stamps.
