Baby girl christening card

It’s time for my inspirational card for this month’s Copic Marker Norge challenge. Our theme this month is special occasions focusing on christenings, confirmations and weddings. I opted for a digital stamp by Mo’s Digital Pencil and made a christening card for a baby girl. I’m not a massive fan of cards with pink upon pink so I opted for a few different colours in the papirs and on the embellishments.

The papers I’ve used are from Maja Design and Papirdesign, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and other bits from my stash.

Copics used: N0, N1, N3, E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, E41, E42, E43, E44, RV00, RV02, RV17, RV32, RV34

Fairy sleepy

The adorable sleeping fairy baby is a stamp by Mo’s Digital Pencil. I have Lawn Fawn paper and a chipboard from Make It Crafty.

Copics used: (skin) E0000, E00, E02, E13, E15, W5, R83, (hair) E41, E42, E43, (wings) RV10, RV52, RV63, R83, (grass) YG13, YG17, YG67, (sky) B000

Bee birthday girl

Another simple layered card using Maja Design papers. I opted for breaking with the background colours completely for the image and sentiment because it’s fun to do so! I’ve used Gina K’s glitter gel on the chipboard and think that turned out pretty good. And the adorable stamp? That’s by Mo’s Digital Pencil!

Folded card in yellow

On Sunday last week I had a random impulse for a card. I spotted a recently added challenge at the Hobbykunst challenge blog on Facebook which said to make a specific size and type of folded card. I had just finished one of my other deadline project and figured “hey, why not”. I then asked for trouble, I mean a colour suggestion, and was given the colour yellow. It took me a whole hour to actually find yellow patterned paper I could use and that says a little of how much paper I have and the amount of yellow that was in it. Now there’s no yellow left.

I used a Mo’s Digital Stamp image which I’d coloured up previously. It was a fun project so there many be another card of two similar to this soon, if I find the time!

Here is a peek of the inside of the card. I’ve used some text stamps from Mathia design.

And a final photo of the project

Winter feeling

Happy New Year everyone! Boy, 2019 went by quickly! But it’s been a very good year with loads of wonderful changes. Can’t wait to see what 2020 will bring. Hope you all have a great one!

First day of the year brings with it a new challenge over at Copic Marker Norge. The theme is winter and snow so I’ve had fun with my usual blue and browns. As this new challenge is so close to Christmas, I made it a couple of weeks ago and turned it into a Christmas card. But if I’d been a bit late making it, then I would have put on a Christmas sentiment anyway to get a head start on this year’s cards! The stamp is by Mo’s Digital Pencil.
