Crafty Meraki Butterfly orchid

It is Tuesday again so that means it’s time for another Crafty Meraki project. The project I have made for today is actually a shaker card! I don’t tend to make many of those, but with the great Frame Worthy slimline dies I simply couldn’t help myself. I coloured up a no-line version of the Meraki butterfly and cut it out by hand. Then I used two of the frame dies and cut them to the length I wanted before filling it with sequins in colours matching the butterfly. An embossed MFT Stamps (Bitty Bears) sentiment on matching cardstock with a few enamel dots by Altenew finished it all off nicely.

Here is a photo of it laying down flat.

Copics used: BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18, BG78, RV00, RV02, RV52, RV55, RV66, RV69, N3, N5, N7, N9, G94, G99

RAM Christmas Ornaments

I decided to do something different this time for my Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios design team project. Instead of a card I’ve made two matching Christmas tags. I used two of the three stamps that come in the Christmas Ornament stamp set. On the back of each one I’ve stamped a Norwegian to and from stamp and they are ready to be written on and tied onto Christmas presents!

The tags are made using a die from La-La Land Crafts and the papers are Maja Design.

Here is a closer look at the snowman tag.

And here is a closer look at the koala tag.

Copics used: (snowman) B0000, BG000, C0, C1, C3, (white) C0, C1, C3, (teal) BG72, BG75, BG78, (black on koala) W5, W7, W9, (koala) T0, T1, T3, T5, E43, R81, R83, (orange) R01, R02, E07, (black on snowman) N5, N7, N9

RAM boy with dragon

I’m back with another card made for Rachelle Anne Miller’s Creative Studios today. For some reason I seem to enjoy colouring up these detailed stamps as small as possible and this card is no exception. I used boy and stuffed dragon for this card and kept it very simple. The photo doesn’t show it well, but I used a stencil to emboss the white panel. A simple “happy birthday” written in Norwegian on matching cardstock with a few enamel dots is all I needed for this card.

Copics used: BG70, BG10, BG11, BG15, BG18, BG78, B91, B93, B95, B97, BV23, BV25, BV29, Y32, Y35, Y38, E97, E08, E19, YR23, YR27, E00, E02, E13, E15,

Thankful for you

There’s no secret that turquoise is my favourite colour. For my birthday this year I got a gift certificate for stamps at Power Poppy and I bought loads! These sunflowers in a vase is one of them. Isn’t it pretty? I layered it on the side of the panel and printed on a part of it. I think it looks pretty good on the side like this. I used a sentiment stamp from a collaboration set made by Hero Arts and Gina K Design and inked it up with ink from Altenew. The enamel dots are also from Altenew, whereas the cardstock is by MFT Stamps.

Elephant birthday

On Tuesday, a friend and I decided that we were going to attempt the new MFT Stamps sketch challenge, no matter what it was, when the new one was out. That was yesterday. My card came along pretty nicely. I used some stamps I coloured up a while back and kept the same colour scheme for the rest of the card, using blue, turquoise and lime green Distress Oxide inks. I cut out the coloured panels using dies from MFT Stamps and the stamps are also from them as well, the Happy Hippos and Adorable Elephants sets. I finished the card off with a Norwegian sentiment, which means happy birthday, by Mathia Design (Hobbykunst) and a few enamel dots from Altenew.

This card has been entered into the following challenge:
