Gardening birds

Every other post a CAS card means we’re due a new one today! Well, technically yesterday, but I just felt like posting up the other one first, heh.

I just love the colours of this one, it could be both summer and autumn inspired! As usual I have made the CAS card with a Lili of the Valley pre-coloured image. I think they are just perfect for this purpose! The sentiment I decided to use is also by Lili of the Valley; a stamp this time. The papers are from First Edition paper, and the ribbon from a local shop.

Autumnal

Time for another one I have coloured myself. An autumn one. We are mid-autumn here at the moment and it is so pretty and colourful outside. I think I have to go for a walk just to take photos of it one day next week. But yes, anyway, card.

The image I have coloured is an Elisabeth Bell one from the colouring pads at The Hobby House. I coloured it in with copics. I have used plain stock card for the corners and the brown paper is by Tim Holtz, and I don’t remember where the purple one is from. The flowers and ribbon are by Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is by Kort og Godt. I have also used various dies and punches: Dienamics, Martha Stewart and QuicKutz. Ok, it’s not quite that untidy and hard to find things, but you get the gist, haha. The jeweled butterfly is purchased at a local shop.

Daffodil autumn

It is not quite autumn yet, thankfully. I’d like to experience a lot more spring first and then several months of summer before autumn is here! Nonetheless I have made a card in autumn colours: brown, orange and yellow. The pre-coloured image is from Lili of the Valley. Daffodils isn’t exactly a flower of autumn, but the colours suited the purpose nicely! All the flower embelishments are by Wild Orchid Cards.

Country pleasures

Oh my! I made it through again! My entry was together with twelve others chosen to go through to the 4th round in the summer challenges at Copic Marker Norge. I am proud to have made it this far. I wouldn’t have dared dreaming of it when I saw the entries in the first of the challenges. Yet here I am and I plan to make the most of it!

Autumn party

Wooo! My first entry in the Copic Marker Norge summer contest got me though to the second round! Ok, that was about a month ago now, but the deadline for the second entry is tomorrow, so I still have time! The requirements were to follow a sketch, and then the dreaded ‘use yellow’. Miss Yellow and I don’t get along, that is why it has taken me a month! That is my excuse and I’m sticking to it!
