How exciting! I was picked as a guest designer for Whimsy Stamps challenges! The challenge is up now and the theme is lots of layers. I am so glad blog posts can be scheduled, as when this appears I’m on holiday strolling on the beach by the Mediterranean Sea. Ah, bliss!

Autumn party
Wooo! My first entry in the Copic Marker Norge summer contest got me though to the second round! Ok, that was about a month ago now, but the deadline for the second entry is tomorrow, so I still have time! The requirements were to follow a sketch, and then the dreaded ‘use yellow’. Miss Yellow and I don’t get along, that is why it has taken me a month! That is my excuse and I’m sticking to it!
Party hardy
Today’s card is something different. For once I have ventured into the land of bold colours. My main intention here was to try to colour the stamp in with bold colours, not really planning to use it for anything but practicing colouring and shading. However, I ended up liking it so much that I made it into a card and started colouring two more images with bold colours. It was actually easier than I had anticipated.
Punch and wine
June has seemed more like monsoon season, than first month of summer. Something good has come out of it though: it has put my creativity on an all time high! I reckon I have been making an average of three cards a day the past week and a half. I am surprised my other half hasn’t gone mad by now…
Balloons and dragon
Father’s day is approaching fast in the UK. Here we don’t get it until November! The card I made is for my boyfriend’s dad. I wanted to avoid the usual colours of blues, greens and browns, but still keep it from being a girly card. It turned out to be easier than I had anticipated.
